How we get the personal information and why we have it

The personal data collected may include your (a) full name (b) contact details including address, telephone numbers, email addresses (c) booking and treatment details (d) enquiries and other communications (e) personal and preferences, likes or dislikes (f) CV, covering letter and other application details. You understand that the email address(es) and telephone numbers you provide are deemed to be personal to you. Please inform us if you do not have sole control of these communications means. No information will be divulged unless required by law or requested in writing by you.

All mobile calls or text messaging, email or other electronic communications, together with any attachments transmitted with it, are intended only for the use of the addressee and are understood by Artiste Studios as personal and privileged. All communications between you and the practice are conducted primarily electronically (email or SMS), including any official notifications unless you have indicated otherwise in writing to the Practice. It is your responsibility to ensure that emails from @artistestudios.com are not blocked by your SPAM or Junk Mail filters.

We will only contact you for legitimate reasons including courtesy reminders for routine dental visits if you have visited us. We do not spam anyone (we understand as we get a lot of unsolicited emails) and may only occasionally contact you with information we believe you will be interested in. Please do not tag these as spam or junk as it affects our emails getting through to some providers. Simply respond quickly to let us know if you would like us to change the frequency of these contacts, including opting out or opting back in. We fully respect your choices.
We may use your records and that includes digital imaging for treatment planning, clinical education and research purposes. We may use your specific case and testimonial as informational material about processes and results achieved. We will attempt to remove all personally identifying information and may edit or substitute your images accordingly. If you consent to the publication of identifying information or publish your visit to us publicly on the internet such as social media, we may use your images on our practice and marketing materials or link to your public posts.

For your and our staff's protection, closed-circuit cameras are installed on the premises (CCTV Privacy Policy). To protect the privacy of all other members of the practice, we request that you do not make audio, photo and video recordings at the practice. In the interests of continuously improving our service and ensuring best possible care, telephone calls may be monitored.
We use cookies to provide the services and features offered on our website, and to improve our user experience. We do not use it to sell your data. We may receive information about you from other sources such as booking sites which we do not have a contractual relationship with. Only when necessary, will we share your data with third parties such as booking sites or dental suppliers in the course of providing for your care but we do not, and will not, sell any of your personal data to any third party – including your name, address, email address or payment information. The third party sites have their own privacy policies.
